For over thirty years, western scientists have been working to extract all of the benefits of the shea nut after witnessing the healthy, – skin of west African men and women who spend an exorbitant amount of time in the sun. These scientists concluded that the magic must exist in shea.
Our Mission
Toushay butter, the world’s first luxury shea butter brand, was born out of a desire to catapult Vitellaria paradoxa (the binomial name for shea) from its common use as a background ingredient to the forefront where it properly belongs.
Our Shea has been carefully selected and we whip it into a fluffy substance, combine it with the purest, alcohol-free imported oils, which we load into glass containers.
